Conversion and news

Currently converting from the outdated (my install not necessarily the program) of WordPress over to Ghost CMS. Some things have been moved and others have been removed.

I think that WordPress was more of a learning experience and stepping stone for wanting to learn more about web-hosting, blogs, and running e-commerce sites. WordPress has a lot of bells and whistles but with that comes a fair amount of oversight and management.

Ghost is more straight-forward WYSIWYG and for me, wanting to spend more time in the workshop or other projects, that works better. It will be easier to jot down thoughts and ideas and circle back if necessary to finish a post or tutorial in Ghost, rather than the constant updating, reworking, and meddling needed to do the same in WordPress.

That said, I have a few drafts in process to fill in the gaps of the last year or so and hope to post more often - not saying how often 😎 but hopefully more. At this time, I have at least 10 active projects and 20+ more lined-up to work on. SOME may be blog worthy... we will see.
